As a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, I seek out the brightest talent to join our growing team! Whether it is hiring a new Maintenance Technician, Leasing Consultant, Property Manager, or anything in between, my goal is to find candidates who will not only be skilled at what they do but exemplify Aspen’s core values. As the first point of contact for any new “Aspenite”, I always strive to provide a comfortable and enjoyable interviewing and onboarding process for all candidates and new hires.
I began my career with Aspen Square as a Leasing & Marketing Consultant at one of Aspen’s properties in Westfield, Massachusetts. Although I did not have prior experience in leasing, the Aspen University training program brought me up to speed quickly, and I was able to step right into the role. I immediately found leasing to be an exciting and rewarding position, and I enjoyed marketing the property, helping prospective residents find their new homes, and working closely with my team. I found that my strengths lay in developing strong relationships with our residents and my team members, so when an opportunity became available in Talent Acquisition, I felt this would be a natural next step for my career and I was thrilled to accept my new role as Talent Acquisition Specialist. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, I have played an instrumental role in helping onboard many new Aspen team members. My job is to seek out the brightest talent for our nationwide team, focusing not only on finding skilled candidates, but candidates who exemplify the Aspen spirit. I work closely with our teams across the country to fulfill our hiring needs, both at our stabilized assets and our new acquisitions. After learning the ins and outs of recruiting, I again was ready for the next step in my career. I was promoted to Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, which has allowed me to play a more prominent role in our recruiting efforts and become a mentor for new members of our recruiting team. As I tell all our new hires, what truly sets Aspen apart is the people. No matter your role, you can be sure you will be surrounded by some of the brightest and most talented people in the industry.
