"Aspen has given me the opportunity to grow personally and professionally. This is a company that will truly invest in you and your path to success. I enjoy learning new skills and being able to take on new challenges and opportunities. The support system is absolutely incredible. Aspen is full of friendly, warm, and hardworking individuals that I am thankful to work beside each day."
As Director of Training, I oversee the onboarding of new hires through our training platform, Aspen University. We roll out new initiatives and provide continued training for all Aspen employees across the country. We host one-on-one training “boot camps” in addition to Train & Maintain virtual webinar topics each month to help ensure our Aspen employees are knowledgeable about Aspen’s best practices and comfortable using them in the field.
I originally applied to Aspen in 2017 while I was a senior in college in order to get experience in marketing prior to graduation. It was the first place I applied to! The recruiting team recognized my skills from the restaurant industry, and offered me a position as a Leasing and Marketing Consultant at a Tax Credit community in Acworth, GA. My first year at Aspen, I remained both a full-time student and employee so that I could graduate with my Bachelor’s in Business Administration and Marketing. With the incredible training I received from my onsite manager, and the support of the Aspen Family, I quickly moved up to Assistant Manager, Property Manager, and then Senior Property Manager. As a Manager, I oversaw the community through the transition out of the Tax Credit program, and through a full interior and exterior renovation. On the Training Committee, I acted as an on-site trainer for many new team members and provided support at sister properties in the Atlanta portfolio. Now, as a National Trainer, I am able to share the knowledge and experience with Aspen employees across the country! I am so thankful that Aspen recognizes strengths and opportunities for their employees. I have grown so much both personally and professionally during my time with Aspen.
