As an Operations District and Trainer, I oversee the field operations of a large portfolio, while at the same time assisting in the training and growth of some of our Operations employees, both locally and around the country.
I joined Aspen in 2007, having already been in this industry for nine years, I thought it was just another average Management company. I discovered that it was quite the opposite. I instantly felt welcomed and part of a family. People from different departments were reaching out to welcome me and give me training in all areas that would eventually lead to my growth within the company. I started as a Foreman for one property and in eighteen months I couldn’t believe I was overseeing three. Upon the successful sale of those three properties, my Aspen family just didn’t say good job and goodbye, they said GREAT JOB and let’s go to the next level! Off I was to Orlando, Florida where I was introduced to start-ups. Again, I was welcomed and made to feel like I was always there, pushing myself to learn what those with more experience would willingly teach. I then finished the start-up and was offered a larger scale start-up in the state of Rhode Island. While in RI, I learned to recruit, on-board, and train staff while seeing to the operational needs of the property. Upon completion of the property, I was assigned the task of heading up the remodels of an entire portfolio, where I was promoted to Operations District for New England and later joined the Aspen Training Team.
