How Aspen is Redefining Apartment Hunting with VR Tours
By: Morgan Wagner
At Aspen Square Management, we're dedicated to reimagining every aspect of apartment living, from the way residents experience their homes to the methods they use to find them. Innovation is our driving force, and we're thrilled to introduce our latest leap forward: onsite virtual reality (VR) tours.
Recently, we introduced VR headsets at The Row, our vibrant community in Columbia, Missouri. These headsets are stationed right in our leasing office, ready for prospective residents to experience firsthand. When you visit our office, our friendly team will guide you through the process of putting on the headset and embarking on a virtual tour of our apartments.
"I have really enjoyed my experience with the VR headset. It is such a revolutionary way of showing both floor plans and all we have to offer without ever having to leave the office. I have found that it allows prospects to walk away with an experience they will never forget because it is unlike anyone else’s in our community." -Zoey
The response from our community has been phenomenal. Prospective residents love the convenience and excitement of stepping into their future home right from our office. They can explore different floor plans, envisioning themselves in each space and getting a true sense of what life at The Row is all about.
"I love the VR headset. It lets me go at my own pace throughout the home and makes me feel more in control of my tour. Sometimes I feel overwhelmed with the amount of information thrown at me during tours but with the VR, I am able to take in the home and then ask questions, making me much more comfortable touring. I really enjoy this new type of tour and wish more apartments used it." -Maitlyn
But we didn't stop there. We also took our VR headsets to the Housing Fair at the University of Missouri, where college students were eager to explore off-campus housing options. The presence of our VR headsets at the fair allowed students to experience the future of apartment hunting firsthand, and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive.
"We are the only ones in our market with this technology so this allows an edge to us as we may not have as many amenities as our competitors in our highly dominated student market. My favorite part of utilizing this technology has been at our housing fair! It allowed prospects to stop in directly and tour us without seeing the property. Prospects are allowed to imagine themselves to travel directly into the unit and immerse themselves the feeling of already living there." -Raelynn
Behind the scenes, our team at the Home Office in Massachusetts worked tirelessly to ensure the success of this initiative. From testing and implementation to ongoing support, we're committed to providing our communities with the best possible experience.
At Aspen Square Management, we're not just about managing properties – we're about building communities where residents feel at home. Our onsite VR tours are just one example of how we're pushing boundaries and redefining the apartment hunting experience. We invite you to visit The Row and see for yourself how technology is transforming the way we find and experience our homes.
"People are excited to get to experience the apartment from our office and see how the headset captures the size of everything. Some are relieved that they don't have to leave the office, especially in the winters we have here. We've heard that the experience sets us apart, they wish more communities did this or something like this. The visuals are realistic, creating a truly engaging experience. Additionally, the headset is comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. Overall, our VR headset is a must-have for any community looking to take their touring experience to the next level." -Emily
"I had a tour with a group of guys; They thought the headset was super cool they each wanted to try it on, and they were on it for about 45 minutes walking through the different floorplans and asking questions. A lot of the people I have talked to after a tour about it think it is cool and convenient." -Abbi
