About the Role:

All properties are supported by our Massachusetts-based Home Office which houses the following departments: Accounting; Finance; Accounts Payable; Accounts Receivable; Payroll; Management; Operations; and Legal. The Accountant/Financial Analyst position offers challenging and interesting work – from closings for new acquisitions and dispositions, to complex tax returns, to business strategy, to helping select and implement new software and tools that support the business. The new member of our team will also be responsible for activities associated with maintaining and reviewing ledger accounts, generating and reviewing financial statements and reports, as well as completing a variety of challenging and interesting financial analysis projects.

Qualifications:

  • BS in Accounting, Economics or Finance. Master’s degree a plus.
  • 2-7 years of Accounting/Finance/Business experience
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret and evaluate financial results
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with tight deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player
  • Motivated, proactive self-starter
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
