As a National Start-Up Manager, I regionally manage and oversee the daily operations of Aspen’s newest acquisitions. I lead and motivate my teams through interior and exterior property renovations, marketing, rebranding and aggressive lease-ups.
When I was recruited back in 1996 from a restaurant, I never would have imagined a lifelong career with Aspen! I began as a Leasing and Marketing Consultant at a local property and within a year, I was promoted to a Local Floater working with the properties in Western Massachusetts and Connecticut. As I started gaining experience in Management, I took on the challenging role of traveling the US to assist with Start-Up Acquisitions. Over the next several years, I accepted relocation opportunities from New York, to California and back to Massachusetts as I advanced into District and National Supervisory roles. Today I am fortunate enough to work with a group of properties in the field as well as be part of the Training Department. There are so many career paths to choose from and that’s what makes Aspen so unique!
