National real estate investment and property management company with a lengthy track record of success in multifamily housing is seeking a hands on, hard-working, experienced Maintenance Supervisor for one of our apartment communities in Carrboro, NC
Responsibilities include:
- All facets of maintaining the apartment community
- Budgeting for maintenance operations of the community
- Ordering and stocking of supplies as necessary
- Scheduling and motivating team members
- Scheduling of apartment turns
- Preventative maintenance
- Carrying the beeper and completing work orders
- Grounds maintenance (with vendor assistance)
- Trouble-shooting HVAC
- Working closely with the manager to provide a stellar community for our residents
- Customer service
Requirements
- HVAC experience & EPA certification required
- Experience in a supervisor capacity
- Basic electrical skills, plumbing, carpentry
- Willingness to rotate emergency call & respond quickly to emergencies
- Own tools & reliable transportation
- Strong communication, motivation, and leadership skills
- Industry experience preferred
- Solid work ethic and "can-do" attitude
