Description
The Leasing & Marketing Consultant is a critical position within our company as YOU are often times making our first impression. Responsibilities include:
- Establishing a rapport with prospective residents and leasing/management staff
- Giving tours & leasing apartment homes to prospective residents
- Working closely with prospects from initial inquiry to lease signing
- Traveling to various communities to teach others selling & closing techniques
- Developing creative marketing strategies to generate traffic in the leasing office
- Marketing our community to businesses, schools and organizations in the area
- Performing some administrative duties

Requirements
Personality is key for the Leasing & Marketing Consultant! One must be friendly, outgoing and be able to set others at ease. The ideal candidate will have:
- A three year minimum track record of success in sales
- A demonstrated ability to ‘read people’ and relate to an eclectic prospective resident base
- High energy and a customer service-oriented mind-set
- Experience training & coaching others to sell
- The flexibility to travel (multi-state/overnight)
- A professional appearance and demeanor
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or similar discipline preferred
The ideal candidate will have experience in the property management field; however, candidates with sales experience in the retail, hospitality, pharmaceutical, real estate or talent acquisition industries are strongly encouraged to apply.
